Class A shares — the ones that trade as SPCX — carry 1 vote each. Class B carries 10. Class B is roughly 41,6% of total shares outstanding but controls roughly 87,7% of total votes. Buying Class A stock gives you real economic ownership — dividends (if any are ever declared) and a share of the company's value — but almost none of the say over how it's run.

Elon Musk founded SpaceX in 2002 and remains its CEO — the one confirmed fact from SpaceX's own company profile about who sits at the top.
